The city of Barcelona once again trusts Edison Next for the maintenance of the Public Lighting installations in Zone A of the city, which corresponds to the districts of Ciutat Vella, Eixample, and Sants Montjuïc.

Edison Next is actively involved in the conservation of public lighting in the city of Barcelona. To this end, the company has been selected this year as the awardee for the maintenance of 46,337 light points, distributed across the districts of Ciutat Vella, Eixample, and Sants Montjuïc.

With the maintenance of the luminaires in these central districts of Barcelona, Edison Next is lighting up more than 560,000 people under energy efficiency standards. All of this, with the aim of improving the lighting sensation and correcting dark spots, as well as introducing efficient technologies.

The renewal of this contract, signed this same year, has a duration of 3 years, although there is the possibility of extending it for two more years. However, Edison Next has been working on the renovation and efficiency of Barcelona's public lighting since 2010, when the company was chosen for the maintenance of the lighting in this same area of the city of Barcelona.
