At the Smart City Expo World Congress, held this week in Barcelona, all solutions for making cities more sustainable were addressed. Cities where public transport coexists with new mobility options; inclusive cities where streets and public services are accessible to all; safe cities that address both security and privacy concerns; collective cities where collaboration and participation become a cornerstone for building a better and more prosperous future.

Edison Next attended this congress, which has been held in Barcelona since 2011, to present both its value proposition and innovations to make cities more efficient and sustainable. All of this, not only through its stand at the congress but also through presentations by its experts.

In this vein, Laura San Segundo, Head of Energy Management at Edison Next Spain, participated as a speaker in a roundtable to discuss decarbonization and how to achieve the goals set for 2030 to mitigate climate change and make cities more efficient.
