To lead the energy transition, it is not enough to develop advanced energy solutions in offices or on the ground; you also have to be where it is forged, where ideas are born, where trends are debated, and where knowledge is exchanged. At Edison Next, we are very aware of this, and that is why we believe that being in the spaces where the future is discussed is as important as executing the projects that make it possible.

In recent months, the IoT team at Edison Next Spain has intensified its participation in the most important events related to digitalization, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and the cloud. This has not been by chance. Every forum we attend, every presentation we listen to, and every new contact we make is helping to reinforce our belief that connected technology is one of the pillars on which the energy model of the future will be built.

Between March and July 2025, our professionals attended as listeners more than a dozen top-tier events, such as the AWS Summit, the Generative AI Day, and meetings organized by Microsoft Azure, Tinybird, and the II Energy Storage Forum, among others.

In addition to listening, we have also actively contributed. We have shared experiences in roundtables, provided training in collaboration with Factoría F5, discussed the potential of data intelligence on specialized podcasts like TechRiders, and served as part of the jury in competitions focused on AI and Industry 4.0.

Beyond the stages or specific names, such as the recognition of our colleague Guillermo Matas in the Nova 111 List 2025, what truly drives us is improving our solutions based on what we have learned. The IoT ecosystem we are developing at Edison Next, with solutions like BMS or predictive maintenance, is directly nourished by these experiences. Connecting buildings, processes, and data has become the only way to truly reduce consumption, anticipate failures, and maximize energy performance.

At Edison Next, we understand that IoT is not just a matter of technology, but also a matter of the future. That is why we will continue to bet on being close to those who, like us, are working to build that future, because we believe that only in this way can we continue to create solutions that, in addition to working, transform the way we use energy.
