Edison Next, New Business Partner of Feique
The Spanish Chemical Industry Business Federation (Feique) and Edison Next, a company specialized in energy and environmental services with a strong track record in developing solutions for decarbonization and water footprint reduction, have signed a collaboration agreement, making the latter a Business Partner of Feique. The agreement was signed by Feique’s General Director, Juan Antonio Labat, and the Business Development and Circular Economy Director of Edison Next Spain, Luis Urrutia.
Juan Antonio Labat, General Director of Feique, stated: “With the addition of Edison Next as a Business Partner of Feique, we strengthen our network of collaborations with entities that provide knowledge, innovation, and key solutions—essential to further advancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the chemical sector.”
Luis Urrutia, Business Development and Circular Economy Director of Edison Next Spain, added: “This collaboration represents a strategic opportunity to drive decarbonization and energy efficiency in the chemical sector, one of the country’s industrial pillars. At Edison Next, we will contribute all our technical expertise, experience, and execution capabilities to support companies in their energy transition with real, innovative, and tailored solutions.”
The multinational Edison operates in Spain through Edison Next, employing over 900 people. The company manages heating, cooling, and water systems in more than 50 industrial plants. It has executed over 2,500 energy efficiency and water reuse projects, optimized climate control and efficiency in more than 2,000 buildings, and implemented lighting solutions in over 40 cities. As a delegated entity, it has managed more than 100 GWh in Energy Efficiency Certificates (CAEs), covering both standard and customized projects.
Its value proposition spans the entire energy and water services chain, always aiming to improve efficiency, reduce consumption, and guarantee savings. Edison Next invests in the necessary assets, eliminating risk for the client.
With the goal of reducing both energy consumption and the carbon footprint of its clients, Edison Next acts as a Global Energy Partner, implementing projects in energy efficiency, renewable energy, circular economy, biogas and biomethane, heat pumps, biomass, photovoltaic systems, waste heat recovery, water reuse, and associated energy, among others.
