Edison Next Spain organizes a safe driving session for its employees.

Edison Next Spain, in its commitment to promoting safety within the company, has organized a driving improvement day for its employees, specifically for those belonging to the Industry Business Unit. This action is part of the multinational’s Road Safety and Mobility Plan, which, in collaboration with RACE, has provided a course at the Jarama Circuit. Among the objectives of this training are to enhance the workplace safety policy by training staff on driving risks and to increase the safety of personnel traveling by car to prevent traffic accidents. The course has combined a theoretical-practical model for better assimilation of the concepts. On one hand, regarding the theoretical content taught, employees have benefited from training that covered everything from the driver’s attitude on the road to the dynamic behavior of the vehicle. On the other hand, among the practical activities included, guidelines for a correct driving position, passive safety systems, coordination and skill exercises, and braking analysis stood out. Additionally, the day concluded with a group discussion among attendees on the most relevant aspects of the course and a final delivery of diplomas.
