Edison Next joins Gasnam to boost biomethane and green hydrogen in mobility.

At Edison Next, we have joined Gasnam-Neutral Transport to commit to sustainable transport. This is an alliance created with the aim of actively collaborating in the decarbonization of mobility, promoting the use of alternative fuels such as biomethane and green hydrogen. In this vein, at Edison Next we are developing energy solutions to facilitate the adoption of these fuels in key sectors such as heavy transport and maritime. Likewise, we are committed to cooperation between companies, administrations, and specialized entities as a fundamental link to accelerate the transition towards carbon-neutral mobility. Biogas and biomethane, keys to green transport One of the pillars of our activity is the production of biogas and biomethane from organic waste. In Spain and Europe, we are developing innovative projects that allow biomethane to be injected into the distribution network, offering a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
