Edison Next develops a solar lighting project in the Ibizan town of Sant Antoni de Portmany.
In our commitment to driving the energy transition, at Edison Next we continue working with public administrations to bring savings and energy efficiency to all municipalities across Spain. To achieve this, we collaborate with local authorities to monitor and optimize their energy use, helping them achieve more efficient management, greater sustainability, and enhanced attractiveness.
In this context, we have been awarded a new tender on the Balearic island of Ibiza. The town council of Sant Antoni de Portmany has decided to entrust Edison Next with the project for the supply and installation of solar lighting in the areas of S’Arenal and Ses Variades.
This ambitious project, worth nearly 30,000 euros, represents an investment in the sustainable future of Sant Antoni de Portmany. We are convinced, and can guarantee, that every euro invested will translate into tangible benefits for the community, both in terms of energy efficiency and environmental protection.
The installation of solar lighting in the S’Arenal and Ses Variades areas will not only provide more efficient and sustainable illumination but also reduce dependence on conventional, non-renewable energy sources. By optimally harnessing the abundant solar energy available on the island, we will be taking an important step toward a cleaner and more sustainable future for everyone.
This project will improve the lighting quality of the municipality and the quality of life of the community, serving as an inspiring example for other municipalities in the area of how technological innovation and environmental commitment can converge to create a healthier and more prosperous environment.
This initiative is a clear example of the efforts of the Sant Antoni de Portmany Town Council to reduce CO2 emissions and move toward a more environmentally friendly future. At Edison Next, we are proud to be part of this initiative, which not only seeks to protect our natural environment but also aims to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors in the area. That is why we have committed to completing the project within 3 months, ensuring its prompt implementation.
The awarding of this project demonstrates the strong commitment of Spanish municipalities to implementing innovative solutions that allow us to address the environmental and energy challenges of our society. At Edison Next, we are firmly committed to this energy transition and will continue to support and promote this commitment.
