At Edison Next, we are committed to collaborating with various public bodies to ensure the proper functioning and condition of their facilities. Furthermore, we are proud to lead the transition towards greater energy efficiency and environmental responsibility in this process. In this context, we have been awarded a significant tender by the Department of the Interior and the General Directorate of the Police for the development of the multi-technical maintenance service at the facilities of several buildings located in the Metropolitan South police region. This region covers key localities such as Cornellà de Llobregat, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Martorell, and El Prat de Llobregat. The award of this contract, which has a budget of €238,159, has been carried out on an urgent basis due to the need to ensure the continuity of a proper maintenance service in these buildings. The importance of this service is undeniable and of public interest, as any interruption could have serious consequences for the operation of the affected police stations. These facilities are vital for citizens, and their proper maintenance is essential to guarantee the safety and well-being of both workers and visitors. Lack of maintenance could result in a decline in hygiene and sanitary conditions, risks of electrical contacts, elevator shutdowns, failures in fire protection, and issues of thermal discomfort, among other risks. We will take advantage of this opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of these buildings, as our main goal remains to lead the transition towards a more sustainable future.
