A year of successes for the Public Business Unit of Edison Next

A year ago, Edison Next España was born from the merger of three companies specializing in energy efficiency and sustainability, and we do not want to miss the opportunity to take stock of the achievements made during this time. To do so, we want to give special recognition to our Public Business Unit. Since its creation, we have launched a series of projects that have improved efficiency and sustainability in public and private buildings, giving a significant boost to our company. In this regard, our focus on decarbonization and improving energy efficiency has materialized in a wide range of projects in the public and private sectors, allowing us to consolidate as a leading company in the market. Financially, Edison Next has made a major contribution, providing an important financial buffer for our clients. One of the most notable initiatives of this business unit is the efficient lighting project in Seville, which has reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions in the city. Thanks to the incorporation of LED technology and control and monitoring systems, more efficient management of public lighting has been achieved, improving lighting quality and reducing maintenance costs. This project has been a success thanks to the collaboration between the Seville City Council and Edison Next, and it is a model of how technology can have a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment. However, Edison Next’s commitment has not been limited to public lighting, as we have developed energy efficiency and facility control projects in hospitals, schools and universities, sports centers, hotels, and other public and private buildings. A commitment that has not only allowed us to carry out projects, but also to participate in major events such as trade conventions and the Ítaca course, as well as in the new ERP project. Furthermore, thanks to our experience and knowledge in this field, we have managed to reduce our clients’ energy costs, improve their efficiency, and contribute to the fight against climate change. Similarly, during this year we have strengthened our presence in this area through cross-selling between the different business units of Edison Next and through collaboration with companies in the sector. This commitment to synergy and collaboration has allowed our company to consolidate as a benchmark in the energy efficiency and sustainability sector. In short, on this anniversary of Edison Next, we want to highlight our commitment to our public business unit and our dedication to efficiency and sustainability in public and private buildings. Therefore, we will continue working to offer innovative and efficient solutions to our clients, and to contribute to building a more sustainable future for everyone.
